The DUO Realis Popper stands out as a superior fishing tool designed for precision and resilience. Unlike other brands that emphasise the exterior appearance, DUO has invested in enhancing the internal structure of the bait. This popper is built to withstand impacts from seawalls and rocky terrains, thanks to its thick walls and internal bulkheads that ensure durability. The unique feature of the Popper is its thin angled rim-deflector, which makes water displacement more effective with minimal rod action. This design eliminates the need for lip filing and facilitates the "walk the dog" technique smoothly. When paused and popped, it moves a significant volume of water.
DUO's R&D team has intricately designed the Popper to be different. While many tournament poppers lay flat or at an angle, this one remains nearly vertical. This posture provides a sleeker silhouette, ensuring efficient hook-ups without being affected by wave action. A distinctive feature is its tapered tail with a sharp keel, optimised for "walking the dog". Plus, the rear hook area is designed for more flexibility. Its sound chambers are more advanced than most JDM poppers, producing sound uniformly in multiple directions, setting it apart from other top water baits that rely on a particular direction for sound optimisation.
